Dr Aditya Gupta

Biography

Dr. Aditya Gupta is the Chairperson of Neurosurgery, CNS Radiosurgery and Co-Chief of the CyberKnife Centre at Artemis Hospitals, Gurgaon. He graduated from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi as a top student and also served as Associate Professor of Neurosurgery until 2009. Thereafter, Dr. Gupta co-founded the Institute of Neurosciences at Medanta Hospital, Gurgaon where he served as Additional Director of Neurosurgery until 2016. 

Dr. Gupta completed additional training at many prestigious international centres, including the University of Amsterdam, Hôspital Pitié-Salpêtrière-Charles Foix, Paris, University of Marseilles, Wake Forest University (USA), University of Kiel (Germany), and a fellowship at CJW Medical Center in Richmond, Virginia, USA.

Dr. Gupta is considered one of the best brain surgeons in India. He has performed over 10,000 brain tumour surgery and more than 6,000 radiosurgery procedures (he is one of the few who has a wide breadth of experience with almost all kinds of radiosurgery technology including Gamma Knife, cyberknife, and LINAC). He is internationally known, treating patients from countries throughout Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and South Asia, including Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Nigeria, Uzbekistan, Cameroon, Oman, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, and Iraq. His presence on many national television programs, more than 50 scientific publications, and his relentless pursuit of excellence in patient care have contributed to being regarded as one of the best neurosurgeons in India.
