• The Indian Urological Society's North Zone Best Research Work Award. 2014.
• DUSUCON award for best clinical work on PSA characteristic in prostate cancer. 2013.
• The American College of Surgeons awarded an international guest scholarship in 2010.
• In 2006–2007, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY, USA, offered a clinical fellowship in robotic uro-oncology. During this fellowship, over 350 robotic radical prostatectomy procedures were performed and assisted in a single year.
• "Innovation award" for "Endopyelotomy sheath: a new device to facilitate ante grade Endopyelotomy" from the Urological Society of India.
• The best paper award at the 2003 National Conference of Urology was for "prediction of Fragility of Stone by DEXA."
