Dr Gaurav Dixit

Biography

Dr. Gaurav Dixit graduated with MBBS and MD in General medicine at PGIMS Rohtak in 2008. He came to AIIMS Delhi in 2011 to pursue his senior residency in General Medicine and thereafter he became interested in studying and treating blood disorders. He entered CMC Vellore, where he is currently pursuing his DM degree in 2012 and had one of the best hematology departments in the country.

He had three years of work in this transplant center with a heavy load, which he completed in 2015. He comes to work at Artemis Hospital, having spent four years at Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh Hospital and Action Cancer Hospital. He helped in establishing a bone marrow transplant program in the two centres. In 2020, the Mayo Clinic, U.S.A., conferred a professional certificate in multiple myeloma on him.

Gaurav Dixit doctor has good clinical acumen and scientific understanding. He is up to date with the current affairs in the field of hematology and consistently adheres to international approaches in treating his patients. He enjoys a niche in the field due to his outstanding knowledge in Hematology and Oncology. He is the most renowned hematology physician in India.

Wherever he has served, his teaching abilities have been a resource to the department. His particular interests are leukemia, myeloma, lymphoma and aplastic anemia. Being a member of different organizations, in India as well as in other countries, Dr. Gaurav is ready to interact, learn and help. In Oct 2022, he was successful in the First Bone Marrow Transplant in Kenya.
