Dr Rahul Gupta

Biography

Dr Rahul Gupta is passionate about Minimally Invasive Brain & Spine Surgery, Endoscopic Skull base Surgery, Endovascular Neuro Surgery, (complex Brain Tumors along with all types of Neurovascular Surgery) and Pediatric Neurosurgery. He is skilled to take care of complex cases of brain/spine trauma. He has performed over 11,000 neurosurgical procedures with a high success rate. 

He is trained from Government Medical College, Rohtak and PGIMER, Chandigarh. He has been a teaching faculty in the department of Neurosurgery at PGIMER Chandigarh, and GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi for 8 years before joining Fortis healthcare in July 2012. He has presented many papers at national/international conferences and published about 55 articles in reputed national/international scientific journals. He was awarded Prestigious Sugita Scholarship at Nagoya University of Medical Science, Japan in 2011.

Dr. Rahul trained for use of Fluorescence (5-ALA) in malignant glioma surgery in Graz, Austria and for Functional Neurosurgery in Amsterdam, Holland. He belongs to, and actively participates in, several neurosurgical societies. He also engages in several outreach community involvement programs, to promote knowledge about healthy living in relation to the brain and spine. He has authored a book on Back pain in both English and Hindi. He has trained more than 20 neurosurgical residents under direct supervision, and currently runs a successful DNB training program at Fortis Hospital in Noida.
