Biography

Dr. Reetesh Ranjan is a top name in India for Speciality Head and Neck Surgical Oncology as well as Robotic Surgery Treated Head and Neck Cancers. He has become very well-regarded for being compassionate, patient-focused and versatile in his practice. Dr Reetesh has had multiport console training with the Intuitive Surgical Training Centre in Seoul (South Korea) using the da Vinci Robotic Xi System and is the Assistant Program Director of the FHNO Fellowship in Head & Neck Oncology at Manipal Hospital in Dwarka, New Delhi. He has also received certification as a Proctor for Intuitive Surgical’s Robotics Head and Neck Surgery Program, having proctored robotic surgery on over 25 hospital sites across major cities in India: Mumbai, Lucknow, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh and Bangalore.

Dr Ranjan provides a thorough evaluation of each patient through physical exams, imaging tests and biopsies. He works closely with pathologists and radiologists to develop a tailored surgical treatment plan using each patient's specific cancer diagnosis, stage and plan of care. Dr Ranjan utilises minimally invasive or robotic techniques and adheres strictly to oncologic surgical practices, including maintaining clear resection margins and following approved tissue handling protocols.

Dr Ranjan also works with the medical, radiation, nuclear medicine, anesthetic, palliative, and surgical teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
