Dr Sumit Sharma

Biography

Dr. Sumit Sharma has over 15 years of experience in Urology and Kidney Transplant. He has performed more than 1,500 kidney transplant surgeries and 500 Retroperitoneoscopic Donor Nephrectomies. Dr. Sumit completed his MBBS at VIMS, Bellary and M. S. at Dr. SN Medical College, Jodhpur, Rajasthan prior to completing his M.Ch. Urology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI), Chandigarh. He is proficient and has experience in performing a wide range of procedures from simple to complex procedures like PCNL, URS, TURP, HOLEP, TURBT etc. He is well-versed in andrology and male infertility, and his other areas of interest are advanced Laparoscopic Uro-Surgical Procedures, Endourological Procedures, and Laparoscopic Urological Cancer surgeries. In total, he has done over 500 Laparoscopic Nephrectomies both radical and simple, and other laparoscopic reconstructions, like lap pyeloplasty, lap ureteric re-implant etc.
