Biography
Dr. Subhash Gupta serves as Chairman of Max Centre for Liver and Biliary Sciences, now one of the largest Liver Transplant Centres in the world with over 3000 transplant experience. The centre, under his guidance, has been performing over 200 transplants per year. His responsibilities include ensuring safety protocols for every division, to include Hepatology, Anaesthesia, and Critical care.
Dr. Gupta has been with Max Healthcare since January 2017 and has over 30 years of experience in the field of Surgical Gastroenterology, Liver Transplantation, and Hepatopancreaticobiliary Oncology.
He completed his Medical Graduation & Post Graduation (MD) from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He is a Fellow of the Royal Colleges of Surgeons, Edinburgh and Glasgow.
He is an Honorary Professor of Liver Transplantation at the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Kolkata.
