Biography
Dr. Viresh Mahajan is currently the Chairman of Pediatric Cardiac Sciences at the Yatharth Group of Hospitals, which is a 500 bed NABH accredited tertiary care center in Delhi NCR. Dr. Mahajan is widely recognized for his clinical skills, leading academic research in congenital heart disease, and international collaborations.
Dr. Mahajan has been part of more than 25,000 pediatric cardiac surgeries and interventions including, neonatal balloon valvuloplasties, coarctation stenting, PDA stenting, and device closures for ASD, VSD, and PDA. Dr. Mahajan has also experience with hybrid cardiac procedures and has taken care of patients from more than 60 countries. In 2008, he received the Outstanding Investigator Award in Philadelphia for his research in pulmonary hypertension. Previously, he directed pediatric cardiac programs at Max Saket and Artemis Hospital.
