Dr. Amit Rauthan serves as HOD & Medical Consultant for both the Department of Medical Oncology and Studies in Immuno-Oncology and Precision Medicine at Manipal Hospitals, located in Old Airport Road, Bangalore. He is one of the leading Oncologists in India, having worked for over twenty years on the development of new therapeutic approaches for patients with cancer. Examples include The Use of Immunotherapy and Targeted Therapies in Molecular Oncology, along with Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy Administration.

In addition to providing the most current chemotherapy integrated with Biological Treatment, Dr. Rauthan has expertise in how to use this approach to treat patients with various types of hematological malignancies and Solid Tumors, including those of the lung, breast, gastrointestinal tract, and head/neck. Dr. Rauthan has extensive clinical experience in the area of immunotherapy and has been instrumental in raising awareness of immuno-oncology in India. He has also been working toward developing the practice of molecular oncology and providing training to oncologists on how to apply precision oncology in patient care.

A highly qualified MD, Dr. Amit Rauthan received his MBBS and MD from Smt. NHL Municipal Medical College in Ahmedabad, and he received his DM degree in Medical oncology from Gujarat University in 2004. Dr. Rauthan is a distinguished member of several prestigious professional organizations, including The American Society of Clinical Oncology, The European Society of Medical Oncology, The American Society of Hematology, The Indian Cooperative Oncology Network, and The Immuno-Oncology Society of India.

Throughout his medical career, Dr. Rauthan has won numerous honours, including the "Times Healthcare Achievers" Award in Medical Oncology.
