Biography

Through his extensive training, Dr. Ashish Dixit has developed a high level of expertise in the fields of clinical hematology and hemato-oncology (blood disorders and cancer). His medical training began with an MBBS from Gajra Raja Medical College in Gwalior before pursuing an MD at PGIMER in Chandigarh. Following this, Dr. Dixit pursued further medical education by completing DNB at the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS) and DM in Clinical Haematology from the renowned All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi, thus equipping himself with comprehensive knowledge and skills to provide expert clinical care in a highly specialised and scientifically complex area of medicine known as clinical hematology.

However, the scope of Dr. Ashish Dixit's contributions goes well beyond his academic achievements, particularly in terms of his leadership role at Manipal Hospital and his demonstrated ability to navigate the complexities associated with bone marrow transplant (BMT). Through his management of the BMT unit, Dr. Dixit has successfully achieved optimal outcomes for his patients, a testament to his commitment to providing the best possible care for his patients and to advancing education and research in the fields of hematology and hemato-oncology.
