Biography
Dr. Deepthi Nandan Reddy A is the Senior Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Yashoda Hospitals in Hitech City. He has been in the field of orthopaedics for over 30 years.
Dr. Reddy obtained his Master's in Orthopaedics from Osmania Medical College in Hyderabad, followed by additional Surgical training in the UK. Dr. Reddy completed a structured six-year trainng programme in all aspects of Orthopaedic Surgery including Hip and Knee replacement, Fracture Management, Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery, Orthopaedic Oncology, Foot and Ankle Surgery, Spine Surgery, Hand Surgery and Shoulder Surgery and received his Certificate of Completion of Training from the UK.
Dr. Reddy then focused on Surgery for the Shoulder, Elbow and Hand, working in some of the world's premier Hand Surgery Units (Pulvertaft Hand Surgery Unit in Derby, UK). He subsequently completed his Fellowship training in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at Northern General Hospital in Sheffield and the University Hospitals of Coventry. He was a Visiting Fellow at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester and Florida Orthopaedic Hospitals, USA (awarded by the British Shoulder & Elbow Society). Dr. Reddy trained under some of the world's foremost experts in Elbow Surgery and Hand Surgery.
Dr. Deepthi Nandan Reddy A. is one of just a handful of qualified Orthopaedic Surgeons in India who not only has completed extensive training both in India and the UK, but is also one of only a few who successfully finished an extensive fellowship in orthopaedic surgery focusing on the shoulder, elbow and hand. As such, he has frequently been invited to speak at conferences throughout India and has presented lectures at both international and national meetings on many aspects of shoulder, elbow and hand surgery to practicing Orthopaedic Surgeons.
In addition to this, Dr. Deepthi Nandan Reddy A. has numerous publications in international medical journals, has authored chapters in both orthopaedic textbooks and elbow surgery textbooks, and has acted as faculty and instructor at both national and international educational programmes for shoulder and elbow replacement surgery and wrist/shoulder arthroscopy.
