Biography

Dr. Divya Bansal, the Head of Clinical Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) at Manipal Hospitals in Dwarka, New Delhi, is an authority in the field of hematology, having obtained her MBBS and DNB in Pediatrics from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. He later obtained a DM in Clinical Hematology from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. He received additional training in Clinical Hematology while working as a Consultant at St Mary's Hospital of Imperial College London NHS Trust, London, UK.

Dr. Bansal's breadth of expertise encompasses a wide variety of hematological disorders and treatment options. Specifically, she specializes in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSC), including both autologous and allogeneic transplants, for the treatment of a variety of diseases such as multiple myeloma, lymphoma, germ cell tumors, and certain immune-related disorders (e.g., multiple sclerosis). In addition to malignant disorders, Dr. Bansal is an expert in the treatment of benign disorders such as thalassemia, sickle-cell anemia, aplastic anemia, and bone marrow failure syndromes.
