Biography

Dr. Phani Kiran has also been identified as a member of an array of professional associations related with orthopaedics and spinal surgery such as AO Spine Asia-Pacific, Association of Spine Surgeons of India, Neuro-Spinal Surgeons Association of India, Indian Orthopaedic Association and Tamilnadu Orthopaedic Association.

He is a highly skilled surgeon in the area of spinal surgery and has a total of 15 years of experience. He is certified as a fellowship-trained spinal surgeon by obtaining his FNB spine surgery from the National Board and performing more than 3000 spinal procedures, including many complex spinal deformity correction surgeries during his 15 year medical career. He was also trained in one of India's three leading medical colleges, Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University, by obtaining top merit rank at the time of application.

In 2011 Dr. Kiran ranked third in an all-India entrance examination for the National Board of Fellowship and completed two years of Fellowship training in spinal surgery, demonstrating excellent clinical outcomes over the past decade at this institution for patients who underwent spinal surgery at this hospital.
