Dr. Pramod Kumar Julka is a recognized figure in cancer care, with 44 years of experience in the field.
Dr. Pramod Kumar Julka is acknowledged for the first peripheral blood stem cell transplant after high-dose chemotherapy in Metastatic Breast Cancer in India, an achievement included in the Limca Book of World Records in 1998.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Julka is a medical educationist and has trained graduate, postgraduate and doctoral students at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He is involved with the Govt. of India and has been appointed by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to inspect cancer centers in the country under the National Cancer Control Programme.
Dr. Julka has been active in the field of TV and Radio, participating and leading a series of talks on “Early Detection of Cancer and its Management” on the National Network of Doordarshan since 1980. He has published 250 articles in peer-reviewed journals of national and international stature.
