Biography

Dr (Prof) Pritish Singh is qualified Paediatric Orthopaedic and Deformity Correction Surgeon, with vast and rich clinical experience in speciality from prestigious institutes. He has special interest in Paediatric Trauma and fractures, Paediatric Hip disorders - including DDH, SCFE, Perthes disease , Deformities - acquired and congenital, Knee deformities such as genu valgus, genu varus, CTEV and other ankle and foot deformities, Cerebral palsy, Bone infections, Bony non-unions, Bony Malunions, and Ilizarov cases. 

He did his MBBS and MS(Orthopaedics) from prestigious Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences, Sevagram and was rank holder and doctorate student with distinction in various subjects during his studies. He has done fellowships and course in Paediatric Orthopaedics, Limb Reconstruction, Cerebral Palsy, Limb Deformities and Ilizarov surgeries by various national and international faculties.

He joined Prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, initially associated with Lok Nayak Hospital as a Senior Resident, later as Faculty and later on promoted as Professor (Orthopaedics) - and managed number of Paediatric Orthopaedic conditions including simple and complex ones with a focus on prudence and results.

Exclusively practicing his specialty in Paediatric Orthopaedics, Deformity corrections and Ilizarov Surgeries and treating large number of patients from simple to complex with excellent results. He excels in both non-operative and Operative management of various paediatric orthopaedic problems. His rich experience brings along a result oriented, patient centric approach in all cases employing best clinical judgement and technological advances in treating patients. He was running CTEV clinic and Cerebral palsy clinic in his earlier hospital where he treated a relatively large number of CTEV & ankle foot problems and Cerebral Palsy patients with best of clinical outcomes and is continuing hisCEREBRAL PALSY and CTEV in Amrita Deficiency institute, Amrita Hospital too.

Dr  (Prof) Pritish Singh is national faculty in  Paediatric Orthopaedics, Deformity corrections and Ilizarov Surgeries with his vast clinical experience, research and some of the best clinical results. Professor Pritish Singh has been regularly been involved as faculty, invited speaker,a subject expert in regional and national level Paediatric Orthopaedic and Ilizarov conferences and is awarded for his clinical work and expertise.

His unique area of interest and expertise lies in software-guided deformity corrections, which guarantees best and accurate clinical outcomes, also in the most complex of situations. He has regularly organised deformity correction workshops and courses to impart and share knowledge, and provide training about recent advances and the newer techniques of Paediatric Orthopaedics, deformity corrections and Ilizarov surgeries. He has trained numerous Postgraduate residents, Clinical fellows and Observers in specialized training related to any of his sub-specialities in Deformity correction. 

Dr. Pritish Singh also believes in giving back to the community. He has been actively involved in the community-based care of patients suffering from leprosy in his medical student days. He is actively engaged and facilitating the service in management of CTEV, congenital deformities and cerebral palsy patients with the help of social service organisations that will lessen and alleviate the burden of deformity in the affected children, and the opportunities for them to live a better quality of life.
