After graduating from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College with MBBS in 2011, he proceeded to complete his MS in Orthopaedic Surgery at Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Medical College and Hospital, Jaipur, in 2014. He then worked as a Senior Resident for three years at AIIMS, New Delhi, where he began to develop a keen interest in hip and knee replacement surgeries.
To further his skills, Dr. Gaba went on to complete fellowships in hip arthroscopy and hip arthroplasty at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, and a travelling fellowship through the Rajasthan Orthopaedic Surgeons’ Association at Pune.
In 2018, he moved to the UK, training at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Woodend Hospital. There, he completed three fellowships: in orthopaedic trauma, lower limb arthroplasty and arthroscopy, and later in robotic hip and knee arthroplasty. He became the first Indian orthopaedic surgeon to complete a year-long dedicated robotics fellowship in the UK, and earned robotics certification from Cambridge, UK.
Since July 2022, he is serving in Amrita Hospital, Faridabad, and actively helping patients through advanced joint replacement and robotic surgery. He has more than 35 research papers and book chapters published in national and international journals, demonstrating his commitment to academics and clinical work.
Dr. Gaba obtained training from the best in India and abroad, such as AIIMS, Melbourne, and NHS hospitals in the UK. He is the first in India to undergo a dedicated robotic orthopaedic fellowship in the United Kingdom.
