Special Interests

Minimally Invasive (Keyhole) Spine Surgery

Dr. Rajan is among the very few surgeons in North India certified by AO International for minimally invasive spine surgery. He uses tiny incisions—just 1 to 1.5 inches—to treat slipped discs and lumbar canal stenosis. This means less pain, faster recovery, and minimal scarring for patients

Craniovertebral Junction (CVJ) Disorders

He treats complex disorders of the upper neck—such as atlanto‑axial dislocations and fractures—using precise techniques to stabilise this delicate region safely

Endoscopic and Micro‑Endoscopic Spine Surgery

Dr. Rajan uses endoscopic tools to remove herniated discs and spinal tumours. Many such procedures can be done as day-care operations under local anaesthesia for eligible patients.

Spinal Deformity & Tumor Surgery

He corrects spine deformities such as kyphosis and scoliosis using modern methods like intraoperative neuro-monitoring and O‑Arm neuro-navigation. He also removes spinal tumours with both open and keyhole techniques.

Spinal Fractures & Cement Stabilisation

For older patients or those with spine fractures, Dr. Rajan offers kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty—procedures done through a small incision (around 5 mm) that stabilise the bone and reduce pain quickly

Disc Replacement & Fusion Surgeries

Using robotic O‑Arm neuro-navigation, he performs accurate disc replacement and spinal fusion surgeries. This ensures precise placement of implants and minimizes complications.
