About Manipal Hospitals Group
As far back as 1953, the founder of the Manipal Education and Medical Group (MEMG), Dr. T.M.A. Pai, planted the seeds of our beginning by establishing the Kasturba Medical College at Manipal, Karnataka. The establishment of Manipal Hospitals as it is known today began in 1991 with the opening of our flagship hospital with 650 beds at Old Airport Road, Bangalore.
